Anyone use a mid compact 52 36 crankset.

I won t say anymore as sometimes when i ask questions like these people will start coming up with solutions to problems i don t have so i will just let you wax lyrical. So now its time for a new bike fancy the focus izalco pro with sram force but i cant decide if im going for the 50 34 crank or the race 53 39 the cranks im using now is a triple but ive only been on the baby gear once got some real stick off my riding mates. I am currently using a 53 39 crankset and a 11 speed 12 25 casstte.
Campagnolo offers only athena in a triple 52 39 and 30 tooth chainrings while sram doesn t offer triple chainsets for its road groupsets although it does for its via 27 and 24 trekking ranges. I usually ride on rather flat route and will be on the 53 18 gear ave cadence 80. Rather than a 50 34 or 53 39. I don t race anything but the 50 34 on the cross bike is nice for gravel grinder rides.
I am thinking of changing my range i currently use a 11 28 10speed cassette and have no more room on the back. A compact crankset or a standard crankset. Unless you went with a triple crankset you were most likely riding a 53 39. I am buying a cross bike from rose dx 2000 and would mostly use it as a road bike for long distance. So its always 50 39 so im used to it i love the hills living in snowdonia.
I am looking to change my groupset and will be looking at either the 52 36 or the 50 34 compact crank.
