Road Bike Rack No Eyelets

Hi all i was hoping to fit a pannier rack to my bike a standard focus roadbike but it doesn t have any eyelets.

Road bike rack no eyelets. The tires on my bike are 700 28 so you can guess how tight the clearance is. A road bike i m thinking of purchasing does not have any eyelets grrrrrrrr but i really want to put a topeak rack on it. Hi all i was hoping to fit a pannier rack to my bike. They also use electronic shifting so you d need to be able to charge the battery while travelling if you were away for more than a day or two.

Any advice i would like to be able to ride a road bike in but want to fit a pannier rack so i can carry my work laptop in without it going on my back. A rack for bikes with no eyelets i ve been busy in school and so haven t posted for a long time but this i wanted to share. Has anyone tried using the tubus quick release adapter with a topeak classic rack. This rack attaches to your rear hub and to where your calipers attach two of the strongest areas on our bike.

There is little tire clearance for more than standard road tires. I found at least one carbon bike with rear rack eyelets the jamis xenith endura elite di2 bike but those don t look very strong to me the eyelet seems to be a separate part moulded into the carbon frame rather than being part of the dropout.

P clamps mounting a rack to a fork can be as simple as finding rubberised p clamps from your hardwear store and mounting a front rack to your bike.
