Mountain Bike Tire Pressure Paved
For me that means running a middle pressure tyre 30 psi to compensate for the mixed trails i ride hard pack to roots to rocks to paved section and more.
Mountain bike tire pressure paved. First 8 miles not impressed. Dumped some air found the sweet spot next 8 miles had me sold. Road tires typically require 80 to 130 psi pounds. A thin road tyre would have 6 8 bar of pressure much like a road bike have a look at our tyre pressure calculator for road bikes while for a fat bike tire a pressure of 0 5 bar will suffice.
Typical mountain bike pressures range from 22psi 1 5 bar to 35psi 2 4 bar generally with more air in the rear than the front. One of the most critical elements to ensuring you have a great ride is to make sure you have the correct mountain bike tire pressure for the conditions of the day. While the overall pressure range to consider is relatively small finding that sweet spot can have a huge impact on how your bike performs. Proper tire pressure lets your bike roll quickly ride smoothly and avoid flats narrow tires need more air pressure than wide ones.
This bike has the meastero suspension system and it realy feels incredable to ride. If you ever get a chance to ride a fs xc bike on high preasure x32 or better tires jump at it. Tire pressure can make you love or hate a bike a wheelset a tire. These two extremes however represent only the upper and lower pressure limits.
For standard trekking wheels the most frequent choice would be a tyre pressure between 3 and 4 bar. I tossed a 27 5 2 8 wheelset on my 29 that usually has 2 35. This is because more of your weight is on the rear so it needs more support. It is also a social activity as friends can organize weekend trips to exotic trails.
I think all the weight weenie stuff has caused people to over look some realy nice hybrid setups. On paved surfaces high pressure tyres minimal rolling resistance work best.
